Visiting the area we decided we wanted ice cream. There was a Cold Stone nearby, which is always great, however we decided on the Yellow Brick Road. We were not dissapointed - the "Oz" theme was fun and I ordered a banana split. The banana split was over a pound and a half and delicious! Skip dinner if you plan on having one. Support this locally owned business and enjoy great ice cream!

Always excellent ice cream and service. My go to place. Even though they are closed in the winter you can pick up a discount card late summer for their other location, Carousel in Silverton. Love the loyalty card too.

I grew up going here and I usually love the staff but I just had the worst customer service experience almost ever. I go in there everytime knowing exactly what I want and the two boys working tonight decided to help everyone else around me (who were still deciding) and customers that came in after me, first, to the point were I just walked out and left. Very disappointed and seriously turned off by this experience.

Please bring back Lemon Bar!

Friendly staff, delicious ice cream cakes, tasty ice cream and doggie ice cream cups. This place is pretty cool and the other location is awesome too! Gotta love the Wizard Of Oz theme.

Right across the street from the church I grew up going to. The best ice cream in the area. I think it's called Pirate's Treasure (Booty), is the best flavor imo. Gets a little crowded in there sometime is the only complaint. But, if it wasn't so good it wouldn't be so busy.

Delicious creamy ice cream. More delicious flavors than you can imagine!

This is a wonderful little mom & pop ice cream shop with some nice inventive flavors. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their ice cream. I like the way they tackle the busy little place too. When you come in the door you take a number instead of waiting on a line, which leaves you free to make your decision while waiting. They also have some really nice-looking ice cream cakes. Another plus is that they take card payments. If you're looking for it, it's hard to miss. Just look for the busy little yellow building on the corner.

Most of the flavors have the same names and flavors as the brands you buy at the food store for example Double Dunker it’s the same taste and name as the one turkey hill makes if you want to claim homemade ice cream at least try to hide it 😂

This ice-cream is absolutely delicious. Must have more fat content than your typical ice cream parlor.

They make the best desserts here and they even have a pet friendly dessert section!

Small and busy, but the ice cream is big portioned and soooo good. If you do the shore a lot sorry to say. I believe its better the Hoffman's in point.

Amazing ice cream!

There are 2 locations of Yellow Brick Road ice cream shop. This one is a bit smaller & seems to have gotten a recent overhaul renovation! The outside is bright and happy, there’s a nice seating area and plenty of parking. The ice cream is homemade and they have 20+ flavors to choose from. I believe they also have seasonal flavors which makes it fun to come back to try! High-school kids working the counter, still getting to know the ropes in the beginning of the season! Worth coming back to!!

PROS: When I went there it was during the time of covid. They had many flavors posted on their door and the nicest staff serving you making sure everything went well and that they kept sanitary. The prices were normal for an ice cream place and the ice cream tasted great and was prepared well.CONS: Unfortunately, the parking lot is very tiny and there's hardly any seating (when covid wasn't around). At the same time, it's a small building so when you're allowed to go inside it can be packed. Not sure if there's a bathroom open to the public either.OVERALL: Despite those cons I'd give this place a 4 stars because you have to keep in mind that its an ice cream parlor, not a diner, so these are common cons to smaller ice cream places. However, I have seen a good amount of ice cream parlors in the area that have a good size parking lot and a lot of room to sit inside

Best tasting ice cream around! I also ordered a Birthday cake for my daughters 8th Birthday they did a great job designing for her slime theme party, the cake was DELICIOUS!

Best ice cream in town!

$14.00 for 3 of their smallest vanilla cones for 3 small children... Never again... That's outrageous prices!!!!! There wasn't even a clean table in the place and we were the only ones sitting inside!! I had to clean the table that we sat at and I chose the least dirtiest of them... I will not recommend this place and this was the very first time we were in..

I love mango so when i saw they had mango softserve i went for it. Asked for a cone but they said it was too soft for a cone so i got it in a never decay ever puff plastic cup. Worst part was it didnt even taste of mango. Was my first visit. Probably wont be back

Kitschy but cute with Wizard of Oz memorabilia. Lots of interesting ice cream flavor combos. Hard or soft plus Italian ices. And toppings galore. Hoffmans has more flavors but this 2 store chain in Brick can't be beat as you drive to the Mantoloking Bridge.
